Embracing the Muse Reiki Mission
The mission is to provide thorough, comprehensive, and updated Reiki training for the purpose of expanding your effective healing capability, personal awareness, and supporting your spiritual growth. Massage Therapists can earn 5 CE hours of credit....
Embracing the Muse is authorized to grant Massage Therapists 5 CE hours of credits for enrolling in the Reiki Teacher Training class. Please e-mail me for more information.
This certificate works for all Massage Therapists renewing licenses with the State of Washington as well as those Massage Therapists who are Nationally certified through NCBTMB (the National Certifying Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork). Please let me know if you want to apply for these CE hours of credit prior to registering for the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki certification classes.
Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki
Level I First Degree (Shoden)
This class is designed to teach The Usui System of Natural Healing.
This certification class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands on practice experience. Additional practice after the class is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to embrace the Reiki Level I training and becoming a Reiki practitioner. Kindle your passions, stimulate your compassion, and re-ignite your inner power by attending this certification class. The lunch break is 1 hour 15 minutes away from the training location.
Bring your massage table if you have one.
In addition to the class registration fee, you must purchase the book, Reiki: The Healing Touch [Plastic Comb], by William Rand which you can order directly on our Bookstore page.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki
Level II Second Degree (Okuden)
Pre-requisite: Reiki I. (Bring Reiki I certificate) This class is for Reiki practitioners.
This Reiki level II certification class will further enhance your Reiki Level I capabilities. In Reiki Level II, you learn the three sacred Power, Distant, Mental/Emotional Reiki healing symbols that bring you increased Reiki energy and healing ability.
This certification class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands on practice experience. Additional practice after the class is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to embrace the Reiki Level II training and becoming a Reiki practitioner. Our lunch break is 1 hour 15 minutes away from the training location.

The instruction includes some or all of the following:
- Discussion: First Degree review of hand positions, content and treatment experiences.
- Reiki attunement to level 2.
- Three Reiki symbols and mantras for power, mental, emotional, and distance healing.
- Learning in depth the meaning and use of the three Reiki II symbols.
- Learn how to draw the symbols, write the names of the symbols, and give their purpose.
- Send distance Reiki for specific healing.
- Using each of the three symbols for specific healing.
- Learn the "Hayashi Healing Guide" and "Japanese Reiki Techniques."
- Learn the Gassho Meditation, Byosen Scanning, Kenyoku, and Koki-ho techniques.
- Learn the Jachi-Kiri-Joka-ho, Gyoshi-ho, and Enkaku Chiryo Reiki techniques.
- Experience the increased flow of the Reiki after your attunement.
- Learn the Reiki step by step formula for using the symbols in Reiki long distance.
- Practice sending absentia Reiki during the class. Learn the surrogates distant focusing.
- Learn how incorporate Reiki Level II into your daily life.
- Access a deeper level of healing capability than you gained in Reiki Level I.
- Deepen your knowledge of Reiki from both a Western and Japanese perspective.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki
Level III Third Degree Master (Shinpiden)
Pre-requisite: Reiki II. (Bring your Reiki II certificate). This class is for Reiki practitioners who would like to have advanced Reiki healing methods.
This certification class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands on practice experience. Additional practice after the class is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to embrace the Reiki Level III Master training and becoming a Reiki practitioner. The lunch break is 1 hour 15 minutes away from the training location.
Bring your massage table if you have one.
In addition to the class registration fee, the book, Reiki: The Healing Touch Reiki III [Plastic Comb], by William Rand must also be purchased directly from Embracing the Muse prior to the class. Only certified Reiki Master Teachers may purchase the manual from the publisher.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki
Level III Third Degree
Master Teacher (Shinpiden)
Prerequisite: Certified Usui Reiki II (Okuden) Practitioner. Bring your Reiki I certificate.
Class Length: 2 Days 11am - 6pm
You Receive: Attunement, Reiki Master Teacher Manual, Reiki Master Teacher Certificate, and ongoing support for your Reiki professional career.
Description: The title "Reiki Master Teacher" (RMT) is the highest level for Reiki attunements. This class this class is taught either in a group, or one to one.
This certification class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands on practice experience. Additional practice after the class is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to embrace the Reiki Level III Master Teacher training. The lunch break is 1 hour 15 minutes away from the training location.
Bring your massage table if you have one.
This instruction includes all of the following:
- Review of Usui Reiki Level I and Level II.
- Advanced techniques for using Reiki to resolve problems and achieve goals.
- How to make a Reiki grid that will continue to send Reiki to yourself and others after it is charged.
- Understanding your chakras and meridians.
- More information on the Antahkarana symbol.
- Aura cleansing / Reiki psychic surgery.
- Long distance and group healing techniques.
- The Usui Master symbol which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols, can also be used for healing.
- The Usui Master attunement which increases the strength of your Reiki energy.
- Practice the master symbol while giving and receiving Reiki treatment sitting in a chair or on a massage table.
- Description of the Reiki Master and Teacher symbols, how to draw them, learn their full meaning, how to initiate them and when to use them.

Becoming Certified
Upon completion of the Reiki I, II, or III, students are certified as an Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki practitioner of the level completed or Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher. Students receive thoughtfully prepared and thorough handouts that can be constructed into a tailor made workbook for each level. Reiki Master III and Reiki Master Teacher training offer advanced healing teaching techniques.
Embracing the Muse Payment Plans
Reiki training is a valuable service for individuals, families, friends, professionals, and their community. I therefore, offer payment plans to break up the cost of the certification class into two or three manageable payments to those who genuinely need this support. Embracing the Muse Scholarship Fund
I understand that, due to special circumstances such as the current challenging economy, not everyone is able to pay the full registration fee in advance for our certification classes. Therefore, I reserve two spaces in each of the classes for partial scholarship recipients. The partial scholarships are generally from $50 - $75 towards the Reiki I class registration, $85 - $100 towards the Reiki II class registration, and $135 - $300 towards the Reiki III class registration. Recipients of previous partial scholarships include college students, chronically ill, military veterans, unemployed, low-income employees, and senior citizens with fixed income.
