I understand how valuable it is to read client testimonials when you are deciding who you want to hire as your professional Life Coach, mentor, teacher, etc. Some of my clients write their comments in the Embracing the Muse GuestBook, and others send longer comments to me in an e-mail. I contacted Stephen in probably the absolute darkest time in my life.I couldn't move forward, I couldn't move back, none of the old ways were working anymore. I knew I was at a jumping off time. Do or die. Literally jump off a bridge, or jump into a new life. Only I couldn't do it alone. Even though for the most part I had blocked myself off from my intuition and all other gifts, something in me led me to Stephen. I guess the Universe was looking out for me after all.
From just the first e-mail I felt hope. That was how I knew Stephen was genuine, the real deal. He could intuitively sense that this was someone in desperate need of help and not to mention, hope. Having been totally cut off from my true self( to the point of thinking I was possessed)in just a couple of sessions I am already starting to come back to life. Its as if my essence is returning.

Ive tried so many different things to get past this block that I have been carrying with me for most of my life. This sophisticated, evil mechanism I created as a child to protect myself, but in the end has almost destroyed me. Stephen is finally helping me get rid of it once and for all. No band-aids. Done. I feel a sense of limitless possibility and creativity returning, knowing that this will help catapult me into my life's purpose where I can finally do what I was meant to do on this earth. If you are a layman and little nervous about starting to explore your spiritual passage, Stephen would be the very person to approach. Perhaps it is because his universal wisdom, compassion for the being, earthly experiences and worldly knowledge, he almost seems NATURALLY warm with anyone who he is talking to. No, it is more like, being with, connecting to. ... You'd feel secure and open, feel well understood and cared. Most of all, it is a relief to know someone who can see what you see and feel. Sometimes, the word is tricky, we may speak the same word but it may bear totally different impression. ...with Stephen, I have no fear on this issue. Especially, English is not my native tongue and my personal issues involves with other culture than the western one.
Although I was already a Reiki Master when I approached Stephen and Shana for the Reiki Classes, I was not certain where I was and what I was. Together with Shana, his Reiki Certification Classes were phenomenal! Especially, Master/Teacher class's energetic atmosphere was something.

Stephen offers spiritual help in many areas. What he doesn't say is that he invests himself so completely that he becomes a true friend as well. I started with the Animal Communication. I have a dog that was very ill with perplexing problems that traditional vets couldn't diagnose. A dear friend recommended Stephen to help me. As Stephen provided me insights from my dog, he helped me realize the correlations between what was happening with my pet and what I was dealing with in my own spiritual growth. We then added in Life Coaching for myself and I have to say, with Stephen's guidance, I had revelation moments that have changed my life. His empathic/psychic abilities allowed him to say just the right thing to open up my eyes and heart to what was going on. Then, for my birthday, I decided to gift myself with an animal totem reading. What a delight that was! Stephen took the time to really focus in with me, and every animal that I have is one that I truly do feel a connection with. He gives a detailed explanation as to why the particular animal and what it brings to my life. It is truly a marvel that I go back to and glean more from every time. I had my first spirit guide reading with Stephen last December over the phone. Initially when I found out it was going to be by phone, I was a little uneasy, but then I realized that the freedom of communicating without any "external distractions" might be very productive when it comes to allowing Spirit to emerge. I am glad I did the phone session - it was very freeing to just have the "messages" flow out and concentrate completely on that, not each other in our earthly, incarnate forms. Stephen was very gentle, honest, clarifying, sensitive and in no way "rushed" our session, even staying on the phone after the official hour was over to wind up some loose ends together. I would recommend this experience to anyone who believes in, and wishes to communicate more fully, with their spirit guides. About Life Coaching I have been using Stephen's Life Coaching on and off since we met in 1996. At that time my coaching goals were mostly about my career as a healer. He provided mentoring that I later turned into several courses that I teach, about the healing relationship and professional ethics. As we began meeting my goals, I was offered the opportunity to complete our coaching. Wow! I had never really completed anything before! But Stephen has so much more to offer that I developed new goals. what I've received: help with: relationships, teaching, publishing, parenting, writing, photography, the healing within the creative process, within Nature, spirituality, understanding Plato, Jesus, cosmology, dark matter, how the universe responds as a living organism, my own injuries, depression, finances, running... Every aspect of my life! Today I have a marriage that is better than I could even imagine in 1996. I have the career, lifestyle and health that I couldn't imagine before. But what's more important to me now, is that I feel I am of more service to others, as a husband, parent, teacher, therapist, friend, to animals and nature and the Universe. Since working with Stephen, I think the ultimate fulfillment in life is not having health, happiness, etc. but being of service. I've been working with Stephen for about a month now, and soon it became very clear I was scared to do the work, to recognize my limitations and transcend them and then move forward in life. But I knew it was time for me to really go for it, to live my dreams and to be of service to others, no matter what my fears were. I was not used to work with my issues through analyzing them. I call it the Bruno intensive and am beyond grateful that he is in my life. Stephen is one of the most giving, loving, committed, and gifted people I have ever known and even in the short time I've been working with him, he is helping to support that quantum leap in quantum time that I've been waiting for (helping to zero in on the very core of things). He does so with compassionate and heartfelt dedication. His intent is pure and his genuine beingness is a rarity. He possesses extremely accurate insightfulness which unfolds in divine timing; always in sync with mirroring just what your soul's essence is ready and asking for. I feel blessed and honored to have him in my life and beyond words, am in gratitude that I have been guided to him to help bring together the last pieces of the puzzle. He has a way to him that makes anyone feel comfortable...his humor, his huge heart, his extreme intelligence, and his multi-faceted gifts make him a gem of a find for anyone seeking to transform their lives in a major way. I love his honesty and his simplicity in how he helps one to transform something very complex with very basic processes that one need not even understand to enjoy the benefits. While I'm enjoying the process of working with him and how he helps me to commit to disciplined self-nurturing and embracing, I am even more joyful at connecting with someone who is now to me, a very dear friend of the heart.

In my first session with Stephen Bruno, he asked me who I am--not what I do or what I believe, but what makes me "me." After a few minutes, his curious questions brought me to some sort of experience I can only explain as a whif of "I-am-ness," which brought tears to my eyes and filled me with love. That was in 1996. Since then I have attended dozens of Stephen's groups and classes, read everything he has offered, bought his photography, and used his services as a counselor, healer, and life-coach. I find he just happens to know about practically everything that interests me: fiction writing, haiku, history, intuition, living to the fullest, nature, math, metaphysics, music, painting, philosophy, photography, relationships, running, small business building, space, tai-chi ... in many fields, he has somehow gained knowledge miles ahead of everything published. He is a Renaissance Man (true to his ancestor Giordano Bruno). But the depth of his abilities and the wealth of his knowledge are not even the best part. He is a genuinely kind and compassionate person. He really listens. He makes me feel good about myself. He always offers a different angle from which I may see my problems as advantages. He is expensive. I never had much income before but I always seemed to receive unexpected income when it came time to buy another set of four sessions. And my career has now begun to flourish: my publishing and teaching are growing exponentially in quality and quantity, not to mention the many priceless gifts like finding and marrying my soul mate, and beginning to recognize who I really am :)

I've been working with Stephen Bruno for the past 12 years. I consider him my spiritual teacher and a beloved friend. It has been an interesting journey in that even when Stephen and I were not technically working together, his profound compassion and dedicated spirit was always there for me. Regardless of the challenges I've had at times I've always known that because of his profound commitment to service there was a life altering lesson in everything. No matter what the appearance of something, there is always a way to turn it into an advantage and an opportunity for growth on all levels and in all dimensions.
